Always a pleasure to visit. Food is really excellent. Everything home made, including the jam for the scones. Very reasonably priced. Staff friendly and accommodating. Almost reluctant to spread the word as once people realise how good it is I will be lucky to get a seat!

Had lunch today – soup was hearty and delicious and the home-baked bread was amazing. Couldn’t manage something sweet there and then but picked up an amazing looking coffee n walnut cake for later. Exquisite surroundings – all that lovely art! This has become my coffee stop of choice nowadays.

Visited today for an early Mothers Day lunch, to beat the overwhelming crowd they have booked for Sunday! It was my Mum herself who suggested we head alon, we all tried a variety of the foods available on the menu and everything was well received. From old favourites like Stovies and Mac and Cheese to fresh sandwiches and soups everything was was just marvellous. We even picked up a special Mothers Day gift whilst in the gallery shop and the women were so helpful and very stealthy as we did this secretly behind my Mums back!! They also beautifully gift wrapped it for us to present to her. We then had a slice of carrot cake and victoria sponge to share between the four of us which we couldn’t finish but they were both delightful! So many other cakes and scones available, will definitely return for an afternoon of cakes and hot drinks and the occasional full lunch! Spread the word! I hope they have outdoor seating for the summer so we can take our dogs over and have a coffee break on our walks 🙂 I can’t thank them enough for making this afternoon so special for us. Xxx

This is my favourite place to go for lunch. The homemade soup is amazing and I struggle to chose which one to have. Think my favourite is the minestrone, but they are all lovely. The scones and homemade jam are the best I’ve ever had. I’ve been with my boys, my Mum, Sister and Brother in Law and we all loved it. Great food, good friendly service and a reasonable price. See you all very soon.

If you like your food to be homemade when you eat out then this is the place for you. This cafe has a nice relaxed and friendly atmosphere and staff are very friendly and attentive. There is a lot of choice on the menu and big cake selection. Highly recommend the celebration slice for any chocoholics.

Went to the Art cafe today for the first time and it certainly won’t be the last. Its a lovely modern bright cafe. They have a fantastic selection of home made cakes & scones. I had the key lime cheescake it was to die for. My husband had the celebration slice and my dad had a slice of the Rocky road. We had a lovely hot cup of cappuccino and the reason I say hot is that in other cafes it’s not normally piping hot so it was good to have it hot. The staff are lovely our waitress was really helpful she told us what all the sweet treats were. Can’t wait to go back for lunch sometime soon. We had a look round the Art gallery some lovely artwork, candles and special gifts.
